Voting By Mail
The deadline for requesting a mail ballot is October 27 at 5:00 PM.
If you return your mail ballot by mail, it must be postmarked on or before Election Day (November 7) and received the Friday following Election Day. Mailing your ballot in advance will help make sure it’s received and counted on time.
You can also return your mail ballot in person to any early or election day poll location during the hours that it is open, or 24/7 to the drop box at the Fairfax Government Center (12000 Government Center Pkwy). If you receive a mail ballot but would prefer to vote in person, you must bring the mail ballot with you to do so.
